It's not quite a new work. Actually I made this one probably in 2006. But I forgot about it. I found it recently in a big fat art book wrapped in a wax paper. I guess I was trying to straighten it up before framing it. My memory has been very questionable, this defines that.

This work is all about celebration, specifically wedding. The cords in the middle are called Mizuhiki in Japan. They are made from rice paper and traditionally used to decorate the envelope which contains cash to give as a gift. Celebrating all the way!
